Founded in 1978 by Renzo Rosso, Diesel is a clothing multinational with headquarters in the area formerly occupied by Moto Laverda motorcyclesmanufacturer in Breganze, Vicenza. Jeans, pullovers, underwear, swimwear for men and women are the brands main products. In 2008, moreover, it designed its very own version of the Fiat 500. Impressed in the memory of the brands aficionados and the public at large are Diesels recent ad campaigns. In the mid-1990s it opened its first shop in the Big Apple, the first in a long line of Diesel stores around the world. At the Breganze headquarters, 30 Comfort unit heaters have been installed, together with 150 Cassette fan coils in the offices, made with a specially-coloured diffuser grill.
